Wanted person fraudulently bought French Bulldog, Largo police say

Bryant Farfan is wanted for grand theft and identity theft, authorities say.

LARGO, Fla. -- Police are searching for a person they say used a stolen credit card and a stolen driver's license to fraudulently buy a French Bulldog in Largo.

Bryant Farfan is accused of buying the fawn-colored animal on Oct. 2 at the All About Puppies store on Ulmerton Road.

According to investigators, Farfan falsified adoption records and misled employees about where the dog was going to live.

The store's staff members have grown worried about the dog's safety.

Detectives are now trying to track down Farfan and the animal. They say Farfan is wanted for grand theft and identity theft.

"If you have purchased a French Bulldog from Farfan recently, you are encouraged to contact detectives and the staff at All About Puppies to determine whether or not your animal was stolen from this business," Largo Police Lieutenant Randall Chaney said.

The dog store can be reached at 727-536-4900, and the phone number for the Largo Police Department is 727-587-6730.
