TAMPA, Fla. -- As clear as day, surveillance video caught a man working his way inside a jewelry case and snatching some bracelets.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday released the video, showing the suspect at work. Deputies say the crime happened around noon on Oct. 20 at the University Mall.
In the span of about two minutes, the video shows the man using a tool to loosen the corners of the glass case. It's not long thereafter he's able to pull the glass upward.
It's said the man stole 10 men's yellow gold bracelets, valued at about $3,000, and might have been assisted by other people.
