Second man arrested, police searching for 2 others accused of beating and mugging teen

NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. — Nearly two weeks later, Pasco deputies have arrested a second suspect accused of beating and mugging a Holiday teen walking home from school. 

Deputies say four men punched and kicked a Gulf High School sophomore on Feb. 20, knocking out three of his teeth.

In a surveillance video, two men were seen initiating the attack. The video shows the driver and passenger jumping out of a pickup truck to join in.

Justin Schreffler, 24, was arrested Saturday based on a Crimestoppers Tip, an arrest affidavit confirms. Schreffler faces charges of aggravated battery with serious injury and robbery.

The search continues for his two brothers, Trenton Schreffler and Khristian Schreffler, who are also accused of being involved in the beating and mugging of the teen.

Austin Emanuel, 21, has already been arrested following the incident.

Pasco deputies are asking anyone with information on Trenton or Khristian to call the crime tips line at 1-(800)-706-2488. The case number is #19-007661.
