We’re happy to announce Clearwater High School as our 10News School the Week powered by Duke Energy Florida.
It’s one of the first high schools in Pinellas County, opening in 1906.
The school is wall-to-wall academies. Every student takes specialized classes based on their academy in addition to their traditional coursework.
The school offers a variety of academies from the Academy of Business, Leadership & International Studies to the STEAM Academy of Science, Technology, Engineering, Aeronautics and Mathematics to -FAME Academy of Fine Arts & Media Education to SHARE Academy of Sports Hospitality and Recreational Education.
The school also has large participation in the JROTC program
Alumni are filled with pride and more than 20 percent of the staff, including the principal, are alums.
