ST. LOUIS — We all know how it feels when you just want to hang out with your friends, but you can't.
That's exactly how Hugo the dog felt when he escaped his home. He was found more than a mile away at a doggy daycare he frequents.
Happy Tails Pet Hotel and Playland captured the exact moment the excited pup galloped into the facility behind an employee, tail wagging and all.
"Hugo is a frequent boarder here and last week Hugo ran away from home with only one thing on his mind... Happy Tails!" the daycare posted.
Hugo ran around the facility before circling back to greet the employee. The daycare says he traveled more than a mile, even crossing a median just to see his friends.
"We are so glad Hugo wasn't hurt and told him next time to have his dad drive him!" the daycare added. "All dad could do was laugh as he picked Hugo up!"
