2 injured in hit-and-run crash in St. Pete

The two adults injured were transported to Bayfront Health with non-life threatening injuries.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Two people were injured after a car ran into them in the crosswalk area on a St. Petersburg street, police said. 

Police said it happened at around 6 p.m. near 4th Street North and 5th Avenue North.

The car left the area before authorities reported to the crash site, however both adults were transported to Bayfront Health with non-life threatening injuries.

There have been no arrests. The case remains under investigation.
