Search ongoing for missing Florida girl

It's been days since Lyndsey Faith Mockerman-Hunt has been seen.

CITRUS COUNTY, Fla. — The search is on for a missing 16-year-old girl believed to have run away from home.

Lyndsey Faith Mockerman-Hunt last was seen around 1:30 p.m. July 10 in Hernando, Florida, according to the Citrus County Sheriff's Office. It's believed she could be in the area of Inverness or Lecanto.

She is 5 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs about 150 pounds with red hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information about Mockerman-Hunt's whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff's office at 352-726-1121. People also can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-888-269-8477 and possibly be eligible for a reward.
