Wrong-way RV crash leaves man in serious condition

Troopers said Stanley Trammell, 60, was driving an RV the wrong way in the southbound lanes of Suncoast Boulevard when he crashed head-on into a Ford F-150.

CITRUS COUNTY, Fla.—Florida Highway Patrol Troopers said a Homosassa man is in serious condition after he was hit head-on by a suspected drunk driver going the wrong way in an RV.

Troopers said Stanley Trammell, 60, was driving an RV the wrong way in the southbound lanes of Suncoast Boulevard when he crashed head-on into a Ford F-150.

Troopers say the driver of the Ford F-150 was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and Trammell was not injured.

FHP troopers said Trammell was charged with DUI and driving in the wrong direction.
