NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. -- Law enforcement has canceled an Amber Alert issued Saturday morning for three missing children from New Smyrna Beach.
Authorities said the following three kids were found safe: Akeem Dorset, 3, Makylah Brown, 8, Aaliyah Brown, 10.
New Smyrna Beach police officers said they issued the Amber Alert after the children's grandmother left her home with them Friday night but never returned. Their grandmother reportedly lives with a mental illness but would not harm her grandchildren, according to police.
