OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla.—A man was robbed at gunpoint by three men posing as law enforcement, according to Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said the victim said he thought he was going to meet up with a woman he met on a dating app when the three men approached him.

One of the men pulled out a handgun and told him he was under arrest, law enforcement said. The victim said he believed the suspects and followed their requests.

Deputies said the men had the victim take them to his hotel room nearby and demanded money from him. The suspects left the scene in a dark-colored vehicle, deputies said.
