SPRING HILL, Fla. — A Florida Highway Patrol trooper was injured in a crash Tuesday morning.
The trooper's injuries are considered minor and the driver of a Jeep was not injured, the FHP said.
The FHP patrol car was traveling northbound on Shady Hills Road as the Jeep was going westbound on Breakwater Lane, troopers said. According to troopers, the Jeep blew past a stop and collided with the FHP car around 6:06 a.m. Tuesday.
The crash has shut down the intersection, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.
