TAMPA, Fla. -- An investigation into a woman's death is underway in a north Tampa neighborhood.
Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office deputies are in the area of Lakeside Boulevard and West Patterson Street.
Deputies responded to a 911 call around 3:20 p.m. and found the woman's body inside a house, said Col. James Bradford of the sheriff's office. She has not yet been identified, and investigators are treating her death as a homicide.
It's not yet known how she died.
Authorities do not have enough information to say whether there a risk to the public, Bradford said.
