BRANDON, Fla. -- A wrong-way crash on State Road 60 involved two drivers who were driving under the influence of alcohol, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The FHP said the Cherokee rotated and flipped across all lanes before stopping on the south shoulder of the roadway. The Corvette rotated before stopping in the median.

Highway Patrol said the driver of the Cherokee has serious injuries and the driver of the Corvette is critically injured.

SR 60 was closed until about 6:30 a.m. Wednesday. An FHP report said the crash was alcohol-related, and charges are pending.

This is a developing story.
