TAMPA, Fla. – The Hillsborough County state attorney is set to announce a new specialized division within his office that works to identify and remedy innocent people who have been wrongfully convicted.
State Attorney Andrew Warren is scheduled to announce the creation of a Conviction Review Unit.
The new division will work within the state attorney’s office.
