ST. AUGUSTINE, Florida -- A man was charged with burglary after climbing on top of the St. Augustine Lighthouse late Monday night. Frank Feldmann was found on top of the lighthouse wearing a tiger suit and holding a flag tied to the lightning rod around 4:00 Tuesday morning. He climbed down just after seven and was taken into police custody. He's charged with burglary and possession of burglary tools. The flag reportedly said "Myduke," a reference to a book Feldmann wrote under the name Dusty L. Cage about a Bengal tiger. Feldmann describes his act as a fight against Internet child pornography. He is the father of a 9-year-old girl and 11-year-old boy. The tiger suit is one he can be seen wearing in a Web site he uses to promote a series of children's books he has written. And this wasn't the first time he has drawn attention to himself. In 2003, he rode a carousel for 52 hours. Once he tried to climb an "impossible rock" in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, with a companion in the middle of a river near a waterfall. And in 2002, he distributed thousands of sea shells on doorsteps in the Midwest. Inside each, a handwritten Web address offered a free copy of the children's book.
