WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. — One person was killed and another seriously injured in an ATV crash Tuesday afternoon in Wesley Chapel, firefighters said.
It happened along Fog Hollow at Solitude drives.
Troopers say a 61-year-old man could not properly turn and, as a result, flipped his ATV. His 62-year-old passenger died at the scene of the crash after the vehicle fell on top of him, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.
Pasco Fire Rescue said the surviving person was airlifted to an area hospital. That person was listed as a "trauma alert."
