HUDSON, Fla. -- Human remains found in the woods this week are those of a missing 21-year-old mother.

Destiny Lee Aaron was reported missing in April. Pasco County investigators using dental records were able to make an identification of the remains, according to a news release.

Authorities received a call just after 6 p.m. Tuesday about the discovered remains near Jayton Avenue and E Road in Pasco County.

At a press conference Thursday afternoon, they said Aaron had been at a party on Placid Road April 1, but left on foot. On April 10, she was reported missing by her parents.

She had missed a final custody hearing for her child.

According to detectives with the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, Aaron did have a history of drug use and may have been intoxicated when she left the party.

They didn't find any evidence of trauma to the body.
