SEMINOLE, Fla. — A man was hit and killed by a passing car early Sunday morning, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.
The crash happened around 1:23 a.m. on Starkey Road just north of Park Boulevard.
Deputies say 41-year-old David Cunningham was crossing Starkey Road when he was hit by a car driven by a 21-year-old Seminole man. Cunningham was not in a designated crosswalk.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies say they continue to investigate, but driver impairment and speed do not appear to be factors in the crash.
