PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. -- The Pinellas Park Police investigated a crash that involved a motorcycle and two vehicles around 4:40 p.m. Sunday.

The crash happened on the eastbound lanes of Gandy Blvd. at Grand Ave.

According to the Pinellas Park Police Department, 25-year-old Anthony Davis was driving a Blue Ford Mustang when he made an illegal turn during a red left arrow. The Mustang struck the Harley Davidson who had the right of way, causing the driver of the motorcycle to be ejected.

A third vehicle, a black Ford Mustang, struck the motorcycle as well.

56-year-old Lawrence Wagner was sent to Bayfront Hospital for life-threatening injuries sustained from the crash. He later died from his injuries.

A GoFundMe account has been created in Lawrence's honor to help with his funeral costs.

Davis showed signs of impairment following the crash and deputies performed a DUI investigation to determine his impairment. He has been arrested and charged with DUI manslaughter as well as DUI personal injury damage to personal property.

There were no other reported injuries from the crash and all lanes of traffic have been reopened.
