ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Does a motorcycle like the one here look familiar? Florida Highway Patrol troopers hope the picture jogs someone's memory and can help lead to its rider.
They said the motorcyclist hit and injured a 6-year-old girl around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday on Gandy Boulevard near San Martin Boulevard, across the street from the Peridot Palms apartment complex.
Her injuries are described as serious.
In a news release, FHP said the picture of the motorcycle is not the actual bike involved in the case but is a likeness. It, too, shared a picture of debris recovered at the crash site.
The motorcyclist has not yet been identified.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call Pinellas County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS or FHP at 813-558-1800.
