Students from the March for Our Lives are holding a rally in downtown St. Petersburg Thursday as part of their Road to Change tour.

The event is being held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Williams Park.

It is being co-hosted by the local March for Our Lives group and Parkland students who are doing the bus tour.

St. Pete Mayor Rick Kriseman is attending.

Earlier this month, opposing rallies were held in Lakeland between March for Our Lives supporters who are advocating for stricter gun control and gun rights advocates who don't support such policies.
