St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman is raising a rainbow flag over City Hall at 10 a.m. on Thursday to commemorate Pride month.
"Every year I look forward to Pride month in the City of St. Petersburg," Mayor Kriseman said in a press release. "Raising this flag is a reminder that we are an inclusive city where all are welcome to live, work and play. I hope everyone will join me at the flag raising and at Pride events this weekend."
Mayor Kriseman will be joined by St. Pete Pride Executive Director Luke Blankenship and Cole Foust, who is the LGBTQ+ Youth and Transgender Program Coordinator at Metro Wellness and Community Centers.
