TAMPA, Fla. — A local distillery is trying to prove a Wall Street Journal article wrong with its launch of a cannabis-infused gin and vodka.
Fat Dog Spirits says its cannabis-infused spirits line called Nirvana tastes rich, smooth and nothing like bong water.
That’s after a Wall Street Journal article reported cannabis drinks taste bad because of the way the ingredients mix with water.
CEO of Fat Dog Spirits Dr. Ram Ramcharran challenged anyone who tries his spirits to try and tell him they get a taste of oil or “barnyard” in their sip.
The organic and non-GMO ingredients used to make the spirits can be traced from field to bottle, the company said.
People looking to purchase the vodka or gin can find a location on the establishment’s website.
