Missing 12-year-old Wesley Chapel boy found safe

Update on Tuesday, April 24, 2018: WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. - The Pasco County Sheriff's Office found a missing 12-year-old boy safe on Tuesday morning.

The sheriff's office said Tyshawn Quadrek Govan is safe.

Update on Tuesday, April 24, 2018: WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. - The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has issued a missing child alert for a 12-year-old boy.

Tyshawn Quadrek Govan was last seen leaving his home on the block of Marsh View Drive around 1:40 p.m. Monday.

He has black hair and brown eyes. Govan was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with a large Lebron James logo on the front, blue jeans and black/white Jordan sneakers.

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is also looking for Govan.

Anyone who knows the boy's whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.

Original Story on Monday, April 23, 2018: WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. - Deputies hope to quickly find Tyshawn Quadrek Govan.

Govan, 12, was last seen leaving his home on the 2200 block of Marsh View Drive at about 1:40 p.m.

He is described as a black male, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 110 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with a large Lebron James logo on the front, blue jeans and black/white Jordan sneakers.

He was last seen walking southwest towards a running trail.

Anyone who knows Govan's whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
