Oldsmar man accused of throwing pregnant girlfriend, daughter from moving vehicle

He punched the woman in the face, then reached over, opened the door and pushed her and their toddler daughter out, police said.

An Oldsmar man is accused of pushing his pregnant girlfriend and their 1-year-old child out of a moving vehicle, Clearwater police said.

According to an affidavit, Emmanuel Parker, 25, was arguing with his girlfriend while they were driving near Old Coachman Road and Coachman Road NE. He punched the woman in the face, then reached over, opened the door and pushed her and their toddler daughter out, police said.

The vehicle was going 20 to 25 mph at the time, police said.

The woman landed on top of her daughter.

A witness to the incident said Parker stopped the vehicle, got out, grabbed the daughter and drove away, leaving his girlfriend on the side of the road.

The witness drove the victim back to her home, where Parker and the child were found. Parker yelled at the victim, then left, police said.

An officer found Parker, and during a search 2.3 grams of marijuana was found on him, police said.

Parker is charged with aggravated battery on a pregnant woman, aggravated battery, child abuse and possession of marijuana. He is being held on $60,150 bail.
