VERO BEACH, Fla. — A billionaire is among the more than 100 men being sought on charges of soliciting prostitution in a major Florida operation targeting human trafficking.
Florida Today reports John Childs, 77, is the subject of a warrant. He has not been arrested yet.
Childs, who owns a private equity firm in Massachusetts, is a prominent Republican donor, who gave money to a pro-Trump Super Pac, former House Speaker Paul Ryan and 2012 presidential candidate Mitt Romney, Florida Today said.
The names of 165 men wanted on charges of soliciting prostitution at massage parlors in Sebastian, Winter Park and Orlando were revealed Thursday by Vero Beach.
Eight people were charged with running the operation, which is unrelated to the one that New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft is accused of participating in.
