HIALEAH, Fla. — A search is ongoing for a 14-year-old girl missing since the end of May.
Melissa Artigas last was seen May 25 at her home in the area of Northwest 179th and 177th streets in Hialeah, according to the Miami-Dade Police Department. Police say no one has been in contact with her since she left, and she might be in need of services.
She is 5-feet, 1-inch tall, weighs 97 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. It's believed Artigas was wearing a black shirt, black and white shorts and flip flops when she vanished.
Anyone with information about Artigas' whereabouts is asked to call police at 305-715-3300 or Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
