CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. - A South Dakota vacationing in Florida has the quite the fish story to tell - and the YouTube video to prove it.

Dustin, fishing with friends off of Boca Grande Pass, unknowingly hooked into a Goliath grouper which, as shown in the clip below, abruptly changed directions and sent Dustin tumbling into the water.

Undeterred and determined to discover what it was exactly on the other end of the line, Dustin hung on to his pole throughout his fall and was helped back aboard unharmed by amused friends. He eventually reeled in the massive grouper and released it, as mandated by state law.

The group estimated the Goliath to be at least 500 pounds - a fight some would say isn't the ideal way to spend a vacation, but Dustin seemed happy nonetheless.
