Largo, FL -- Drivers reported a signal timing issue at the intersection of East Bay Drive and Missouri Avenue, and Mariel, a 10News WTSP viewer, contacted me for help.

"The two lanes for westbound cars waiting to turn south quickly fill up and ultimately block the left lane of westbound traffic. Eventually those cars get the green arrow, but now traffic is backed up down the hill for several light cycles," wrote Mariel.

I reported the issue to Pinellas County Traffic Management and the department sent a crew to the intersection to check on the timing.

"In the field checks today, we noticed a command in the controller that once adjusted alleviated the problem. You should not experience this issue any longer," wrote Deneta Jones, Pinellas County Traffic Operations.
