The watch is worth $21,000.

Call it a Christmas miracle.

Clearwater police say they have reunited a man from Italy with a $21,000 watch that was stolen a decade ago.

Police say Alberto Laboni's watch was stolen while he was riding a scooter in Milan, Italy, in December 2008. A scooter intentionally sideswiped his scooter, and when he reached out to put it back in place, a second scooter rider snatched the watch off his wrist.

A decade later, the watch turned up at Audemars Piguet watch store in Clearwater for repairs. The owner was traced through the watch's serial number.

Laboni and his family flew from Italy to Miami, then drove to Clearwater to get his watch Friday.
