HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Huntersville police commemorated a memorable moment on social media by flexing their girl power.

In a tweet Friday evening, HPD said half of the shift was made up of women that night, which they believe to be a first-ever occasion for the department. The five officers got together for a group selfie, which the department shared online.

Included in the photo are Lt. Sprague, Sgt. Saglimbeni, K-9 Ofc. Lowe, Ofc. Long, and Ofc. Cobeo. K-9 Koda also got in on the photo too.
