TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Bay Lightning unveiled a new $6 million facility on Wednesday at the Ice Sports Forum.

The new 18,300-square-foot space includes a new locker room and training facility for the team. Previously, the facility was only 5,500 square feet.

The new space is larger than the team's locker room at Amalie Arena, which is about 14,500 square feet.

The Ice Sports Forum has served as the Lightning's practice facility since 1997. The Bolts and the Ice Sports Forum have agreed to a 10-year lease extension, which means the team is set to practice at the facility through at least 2026-2027.
