PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. — Speak Up. Pick Up. Stand Up.
That's the commitment volunteers pledge to when they remove all the trash left behind near our local beaches.
This week, Keep Pinellas Beautiful kicked off the 2020 Great American Cleanup campaign – Leaders Against Litter
It is Keep America Beautiful's signature event – and the nation's largest community improvement program – that kicks off nationwide in March and extends through June.
The initiative's purpose is to raise awareness about how litter affects communities all around Florida with both direct and indirect costs.
Each year, the Great American Cleanup engages millions of volunteers and participants who take action in their local communities to create positive change and long-lasting impact.
