Westbound I-4 reopens after 4-vehicle crash at Polk Parkway

10News is working to figure out if anyone was hurt in the crash.

LAKELAND, Fla. -- A four-vehicle crash temporarily shut down part of westbound I-4 Monday morning at Polk Parkway.

It was not immediately clear if anyone was hurt in the crash.

Traffic cameras showed massive delays during rush hour on the westbound side of the interstate. The westbound lanes have since reopened.

The crash came after an earlier delay that happened when a tractor-trailer hauling sweet potatoes caught fire on westbound I-4 this morning in Lakeland. Nobody was hurt in the fire, which was sparked by a mechanical issue.
