LUTZ, Fla. — First responders took a driver to the hospital after a collision with a Tampa police car.
The driver’s injuries are considered minor after the crash around 5:52 a.m. Tuesday on Sunset Road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The FHP said the driver of the Honda Accord pulled out of an apartment complex and entered the path of the police car. The driver was cited for violation of the right of way.
