We will kick off our work week just about the same way we finished the weekend...hot. There will only be a 20 percent chance for a few isolated showers or thunderstorms as daytime heating launches the sea breeze activity this afternoon. Any showers or storms that develop will quickly dissipate through this evening and give way to clear skies overnight.

High temperatures this afternoon will be in the low 90s with minimal relief from the breeze. Winds will only be light and variable today.

Temperatures continue to build through the week with mid 90s expected in Tampa Bay through the second half of the week. By this weekend some places through central Florida could see high temperatures in the upper 90s to near 100°.

Have a great week and stay cool!
