High pressure centered in the northeastern Gulf of Mexico will continue to dominate our weather as we head into the weekend. Temperatures Friday morning will start off in the low-middle 50s under partly cloudy skies. Mostly sunny skies will then lead us through the afternoon as temperatures warm back into the middle 70s. Wind today will be out of the west-southwest from 5-10 mph.

BEACH & BOATING FORECAST: Winds on the water today will be out of the southeast and then shift to the southwest around 5 knots. Seas will be at 2 feet or less with smooth conditions on the bay and inland waters.

While high pressure will remain the main surface weather feature, a weak upper-level disturbance combine with a slight increase in surface moisture will bring a very small chance for an isolated shower on Saturday. The chance of rain is at 20% or less.

Meanwhile, temperatures on Saturday will be in the middle 70s with near 80-degree readings on Sunday.

Have a great Friday!
