We're in for a nice warm-up this afternoon as high aim for the mid 70s today. Skies will remain sunny with winds remaining light and variable throughout the day.

BOATING FORECAST: Winds vary out of the east, turning southwest by the afternoon around 5 knots today. Expect 1'-2' seas with smooth waters on the bay and inland waters.

Our next weather maker will arrive early Sunday morning in the form of a cold front with showers and storms. The best timing for rain will be before sunrise through midday. Behind the front, much cooler air will filter in by Monday. Lows will dip to the 30s as far south as the Tampa area and highs Monday will struggle to reach 60. The coldest air will remain to our north where it will be brutal across the eastern half of the U.S.

If the cold weather isn't your thing, don't worry. Temperatures rebound quickly into the 70s by the middle of next week.
