10 Weather: Isaias pulls away from Florida, more showers this week

Showers and storms likely each afternoon this week.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla — As Tropical Storm Isaias moves away from Florida, some drier air will settle in briefly Monday. We'll see a few showers or storms in the afternoon, but no widespread rain coverage.

With more moisture streaming in later this week, scattered rain is expected every afternoon, along with daytime highs in the low to middle 90s.

Monday: Partly sunny with a few storms. Hot. High: 93. Chance of rain: 30%. Wind: W 5-10 mph.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, warm and humid. Chance of rain: 20%. Low: 78. Wind: W 5-10 mph.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, scattered rain & thunderstorms. High: 92. Chance of rain: 50%. Winds: WSW 5-10 mph.

Tuesday night: Mostly to partly cloudy, few storms possible. Chance of rain: 30%. Low: 79. Wind: W 5-10 mph.
