10 Weather: Fantastic feel-good weather across Tampa Bay continues

Temperatures turn warmer, near the upper 80s, by the weekend!

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — We have returned to the trend of cooler mornings and pleasant afternoons thanks to a dominate area of high pressure. This will put a hold on any rain for the next several days while easterly to southeasterly winds will help warm temperatures day by day.

Tonight will be another comfortably cool evening with clear conditions and morning lows falling towards the low and mid 60s by sunrise Thursday.

Thursday and Friday although the humidity remains low, afternoon temperatures will begin to turn warmer-than-average with highs ranging from the mid to upper 80s. Rain remains absent through the end of the forecast period, this could lead to an increased danger with fire weather so keep track of any dry brush or vegetation around your property as an extra precaution.

This weekend points to continued dry weather, with easterly winds turning breezy and even gusty at times which could lead to choppier water. Be on the lookout for rip currents and exercise caution if you plan to enjoy some time out on the water.
