As we kick off a new week following the Easter weekend high pressure has taken control of our weather and that will remain the case for a majority of the week. Temperatures this morning will be a little cool, yet refreshing. The dominance of high pressure will provide nothing but sunshine for our Monday which will send temperatures to around 80 degrees this afternoon. Light eastern winds will be around 5 mph today.

Skies will remain clear tonight as temperatures steadily cool into the low-middle 60s.

The sunshine will remain through the middle of the week as temperatures take a step up into the middle 80s.

The chance of rain won't return to the forecast until Friday when a slow-moving system arrives and hangs around into the weekend.

In the meantime, enjoy the warmth and sunshine.
