ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The workweek will pick up right where the weekend left off with plenty of heat and sunshine. High pressure remains in control and that will allow temperatures to return to the low-middle 90s this afternoon under mostly sunny conditions.

Tonight will be clear, humid and warm with low temperatures in the upper 70s.

Through the second half of the week, winds will shift out of the east-southeast which will usher in more surface moisture and keep the sea breeze along the west coast. This will produce scattered showers and storms each afternoon and evening.

Have a great week!
