It has been a nice break to get back to those more typical afternoon showers  and storms over the last couple of days and looking forward, that trend will continue through the weekend.

We will see a few lingering showers this evening, but most of that will be gone by the time 11 p.m. rolls around.  Skies will turn partly cloudy to clear by daybreak with lows in the mid 70s.

Wednesday starts with sunshine then skies turn partly cloudy as daytime heating brings our temperatures to the low 90s.  Showers and storms will begin to pop up after 1 p.m. with the best chance for rain coming after 3 p.m. and moving from east to west. Winds will blow from the ESE-S 5-10 mph.

The tropics remain fairly quiet with Invest 97L moving quickly out to sea well off of the U.S. east coast.
