Despite the chance for a few storms and showers, the remainder of the weekend will stay mostly quiet, especially in the morning.

Partly cloudy skies move in this evening, along with a 30% chance for scattered rain and storms through tonight. Tonight's lows will fall to the upper 70s.

Sunday starts out sunny with high temperatures in the low 90s. The humidity will send heat indices to between 100-105 degrees. Isolated storm and rain chances increase in the afternoon, but chances stay at 30%.

Meanwhile, an area of disturbed weather plans to bring the southern and central-eastern half of Florida an increased chance of rain through Sunday into next week. Tampa Bay will see minimal impacts as some scattered rain moves in from the east.

As of Saturday evening, there is a 90% chance that this disturbance becomes a tropical system over the next 5 days. That said, it will be moving away from Florida during the window of development.

Newly named Tropical Storm Dorian is about 800 miles east-southeast of Barbados and is moving west at about 12 miles-per-hour.
