Cloudy again Thursday with storms back Friday

We've issued a Yellow Weather Alert for storms Friday and more rain Saturday

WASHINGTON — Still unseasonably cool Thursday with cloudy skies and a few showers.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low: 60.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy and milder, isolated showers. High: 73.
Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy. Low: 67.

Forecast Discussion:

Thursday remains mostly cloudy. Rain chances are slightly higher for on Thursday, but still very low. Temperatures will be slightly warmer but still below average in the mid to low 70s.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy and cool. Lows: 55 - 60. Winds: SE 10.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy and milder, isolated showers. Highs: 70 - 75. Winds: SE 10.
Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy. A stray shower and patchy fog. Lows: 62 - 67.

Long Range Forecast:

Memorial Day Weekend looks to start off wet with showers and storms Saturday, mostly in the afternoon, but it will improve drastically for Sunday and Monday.

Sunday looks sun-filled with comfortable temperatures in the low 80s. 

Monday will still be nice and bright but much warmer with temperatures in the upper 80s. The hot streak continues Tuesday into Wednesday with highs near 90.

Extended Outlook:

Friday:  Some sun. Afternoon and evening storms, heavy/severe. Highs: 75-79.
Saturday: Partly sunny, an isolated shower or storm. Highs: 75-80.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, warm, and pleasant. Highs: 78-83.
Memorial Day: Mostly sunny, hotter. Highs mid to upper 80s.
