First freeze of the season possible this weekend

Coolest temperatures of the season so far on the way with some frost potential!

  • First freeze of the season possible this weekend
  • Highs in the low 60s Saturday
  • Dry weekend

A cold front is passing this morning and will leave behind chilly temperatures. Partly cloudy start with a mostly sunny afternoon. Temperatures will be staying in the mid-60s this afternoon with wind gusts up to 20 mph possible.

A FROST ADVISORY is in effect for majority of Kentuckiana Saturday morning with temperatures close to below freezing. Although, some areas in southern Indiana will likely drop below freezing. A FREEZE WATCH is in effect Sunday morning with below freezing temperatures more likely.

We gradually begin warming back up to seasonal values by Monday and into this time next week. Then we will be back in the low 80s by Tuesday. Still no rain chances until at least next Wednesday. The next cold front will bring a chance of showers late Wednesday into Thursday. Despite a few sprinkles this morning, for now, our long dry stretch continues.

OVERNIGHT: Frost Advisory. Low: 39. Wind: N 5

SATURDAY: Freeze watch in morning, sunny afternoon. High: 62 Wind N 5
