10 Weather: Turning breezy with only a stray early shower

Our pattern changes today with an onshore flow but we keep the sunny pattern going with only isolated showers coming at us earlier with a sunny finish. High of 88.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Today, we'll only have a slight chance of a shower or storm earlier in the day for most of us between noon and 4 p.m. Expect a nice sunny finish with highs in the upper 80s. A fresh sea breeze picks up at 10 to 20 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny and warm with an inland shower or thunderstorm. High: 88. Chance of rain: 30%.

Thursday: Mostly sunny and warm with scattered showers earlier in the day. Rain is possible at the beach in the morning and quickly moving west in the afternoon. High: 87. Chance of rain: 40%.

Friday: Partly sunny and warm with a morning shower or storm at the beach moving inland during the afternoon. High: 88. Chance of rain: 30%. 

Weekend: Keep those plans! No big fronts or tropical activity near home. Rain chances fall back below normal for this time of year as drier air works in with highs in the upper 80s.
