10 Weather: Rain and storm chances return Sunday

A stationary front just south of Tampa Bay helps trigger rain and storms Sunday and Monday.

After a dry stretch, we're saying "hello" again to showers. A stationary front and increasing atmospheric moisture will bring increased rain and storm chances Sunday evening and Monday.

Sunday's chances will be highest in the afternoon and evening. Heading to Ray Jay for the game? Pack a poncho to be safe.

A drier Tuesday and Wednesday is expected before a cold front sweeps in Thursday, increasing the chance for showers and a few storms. Behind that front is much drier and cooler air just in time for Halloween weekend.
