10News is a proud sponsor of St. Pete Pride 2019.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla — St. Pete Pride is here!

The Saturday Party kicks off at 2 p.m. Saturday, with the Tech Data St. Pete Pride Parade beginning at 7:15 p.m. We're expecting 5,000 people to march along Bayshore Drive in downtown St. Petersburg, celebrating our diverse community.

Expect to see more than 200,000 people watching the parade. Your favorite 10News anchors and reporters will be rolling by on a float, decked out in rainbow colors!

The St. Pete Pride Festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. It's expected to draw more than 50,000 people, who will be able to enjoy live entertainment, art, community booths and incredible food.

Speaking of entertainment, there's still time to buy VIP tickets for Saturday, which will get you front-of-stage access for the North Straub Main Stage in St. Petersburg. Click here to learn more about VIP opportunities.

Know before you go

No outside beverages or alcohol can be brought to the parade. But, don't worry: Plenty of water and drinks will be sold at the festival.

Here's a short list of things to keep at home: outside alcohol, inline skates, laser pointers, radios, skateboards/scooters, fireworks, weapons and pets. (We love animals, too, it will just be safer for them at home).

Pride attendees who need accessible viewing: We're so excited to give you a great vantage point. There will be an accessible viewing area located at South Straub Park next to the water fountain.

Interpreting services for the parade will be available by the HCA South Straub Stage.
