TAMPA, Fla. — "I grew up telling my parents I wanted to move to New York and become a writer" says Noelle Bryant.
Bryant shared her story with 10News social media anchor Aubrey Jackson, highlighting how her successful mom blog "Oh Happy Play" came to life after a post she created went viral on Pinterest.
The post was a show-and-tell of Bryant building a makeshift trundle bed for her daughter.
"Everybody loved it and I thought, you know, I am going to put this into a blog post with all my sources and where I bought everything. " says Bryant.
Bryant, who has a degree in marketing, turned her love of social media and blogging into a business! She gets to spend time at home and create fun content with her kids.
" I always wanted to do more than just work. I love what I did, but I wanted more. Creating this blog was a way for me to do that. I get to be home with them in my everyday business, but I also get to utilize my creative skills" says Bryant.
Bryant also says because of her online success, she can also help other moms and families looking to visit Florida and have a good time.
" A lot of my followers, they're nationwide, it's fun when they reach out to me and say we're traveling to Florida and what are some things you recommend. Through my blog I've become a little ambassador of Florida activities," says Bryant.
Bryant says looking ahead she plans to continue growing and helping others through social media.
