TAMPA, Fla. - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed kicker Chandler Catanzaro to a three-year contract on Friday.
The deal is worth about $9.75 million with $3.75 million guaranteed, according to reports.
Catanzaro, 27, made 25-of-30 field goals (83.33 percent) for the New York Jets last year. In 2017, he went 29-of-29 (100 percent) on extra points. He is a career 84.4 percent field goal kicker.
Last year, the Bucs made 25-of-34 (73.53 percent) on field goals and went 28-of-31 (90.32 percent) on extra points. Patrick Murray and Nick Folk split Tampa Bay's kicking duties last year. It came after the Bucs cut kicker Roberto Aguayo in the preseason.
Catanzaro played his first three seasons for the Arizona Cardinals.
